Powered by your existing heated shield cord, our kit uses the existing power from your snowmobile to power both the heated shield and LED Helmet Safety Light. Your existing heated shield cord plugs directly into our helmet light kit and a separate flexible silicone cord plugs directly into your heated shield port, powering both without compromising the heated shield’s function. The LED Light only uses 1/2 watt of power, due to the highly efficient custom LED diodes made specifically for us by our manufacturer. Unlike some helmets with built in, battery powered LED’s currently available, our helmet safety light is powered by your snowmobile, allowing it to be much brighter and always on, making you more visible to other riders on the trail.

Think about it….riding in snow creates snow dust, reducing visibility. The colder it gets or the faster you go, snow dust becomes an issue for everyone. Your tail light, because it’s mounted low, becomes covered in snow dust within minutes, making it very difficult for other riders in your group to see you. Because our LED strip mounts on the back of almost any snowmobile helmet, this places a highly visible colored light high up above the existing tail light and cutting through snow dust, making you more visible to riders behind you. This makes riding in groups much safer as well as making you and your group much more visible to other riders approaching you from behind.

Orders $39 and over qualify for free standard shipping via Ground (UPS, FedEx, USPS) to the contiguous 48 US states. Shipping will be calculated for orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories including Puerto Rico, Guam, and U.S. Virgin Islands.
