That's because it's built different: Its nifty, retractable design minimizes any potential of your lines being sucked into the intake and, as a bonus, minimizes you having to store this in wet, smelly dock lines and storage compartments. This can be mounted on the bow or stern, it's entirely up to you. It's an innovative mechanism that's made for ease of use and maximum convenience.
